Many times, we are caught by the mind and we exist in a state we are completely absent to ourselves. In this state of fight and flight and fear, we can only care about survival, not living or growing.
The meditation, The Discipline of Living explores another state of brain we can exist in, which is when we are present and the brain is awake to the possibility of living. It’s a key meditation that will help you develop the skill to put yourself in a space you can shift the brain from being in a state of survival and fear to a space where you are open to transformation and you have the power to shape life.
