Somatic Workshop with Gregory Nye – The Prabu Method

The Prabhu Method is an experiential instruction into managing the evolutionary growth and transformational activity of the body. It is linked to and grounded in the deep somatic teachings of Dhyan Vimal and serves as an essential bridge into waking the body to be consistently available to its participation in awakening. The Introduction to Somatics will be presented in three parts:

In Part I, this five-day workshop will explore, and participants will experience the language of the pulsatory body. The workshop is primarily experiential and interactive. You will learn to distinguish and interact with the neuromuscular activity of your body as it is revealed in reactive behaviour.

Along with the experiential exercises students will be introduced to fundamental biological theory that underlies and supports the therapeutic process that is the Prabhu Method. You will be instructed in techniques that aid in self management and become familiar with the behavioural activity of your unique reactive system.

Objectives

1.To introduce the language of the experiential body and how to begin to awaken and interact with the growth activity of the body.

2. To examine the forces of somatic destiny.

3. To become familiar with the activity of your reactive system.
